Parade!

I was with some amigas at Retiro Park and when we left we saw huge crowds of people preparing for what looked like a parade. We asked and sure enough there was going to be a parade in 45 minutes. We went someone to eat and then joined the huge crowds to watch the parade.

The parade was put on by Casa America and many countries in South/Central American were represented.

Almost all of the groups had choreographed dances. We were at the very start of the parade and some people already looked tired and sweaty - it was hot. We also saw plenty of ladies walking in stilettos..I'm sure their feet weren't doing so well at the end.
These ladies were balancing bottles on their heads - very impressive.
One of the last countries was Uruguay. Now...I don't know much about Uruguay but I questioned the ladies and their attire... They were all dressed like the lady below. Lucky for you I didn't take a picture of her from behind - she was wearing a thong with nothing to cover her behind. The other ladies representing Uruguay were equally classy and their dances made me feel like I was in a strip club and all that was missing was a pole.

Here is me watching the parade.
Random side note: In the middle of the parade all of a sudden we were sprayed with liquid. I looked down and realized that the liquid was white. Ten seconds later it happened again. We weren't super sure what it was but I think (hope?) it was milk.
